Buckingham Palace

Got a late start so you will be seeing a lot evening shots :) Cindy really wanted to go see Buckingham Palace so I obliged.

Buckingham Palac at night. You can make out their xmas tree. If you look really closely, you can make out a silhouette of the guard.

London Eye off in the distance.

Palace straight on ;)

Victory statue. It's just outside of the palace.

He put the Eye in London

So we decided to go to the Dali museum on the south bank. They have a lot of more obscure stuff here. A lot of interesting sculptures that are definitely recognizable. I learned a bit about this crazy guy.

I think Dali supported immersive AI.

Snails. The only way to fly.

Trying to decode this...

This is for Janusz who wanted brighter pictures :)
This by Azam, the Dali museum's resident artist.

Westminster Abbey with Old Ben. This is where their parliament hangs out.

A viewing capsule.

Eyes of London

I got up very early and picked up Cindy. Amazingly, she didn't want to sleep, so went for a traditional english breakfast: beans, sausage, bacon, egg, potatoes, boiled tomato, and mushroom. Then we decided to hit the London Eye, which is a big ferris wheel along the Thames River. Nice Views from there.

Arrive at the Crystal Palace Station.

London Eye in all its glory.

The winding river Thames. In the back right, you can make out the football (cone) shaped building that they refer to as the Gerkin (sp?) because it resembles a pickle. :)

Going up...
