Haven't decided yet

So, I managed to get up very early and make it to the conference on time. The place where the conference is held, Hakodate Future University, has a very unique design. It is comprised almost entirely of glass windows, with the occasional white wall. Let's just say that a game of hide and seek would be very boring if played here. I haven't decided yet if I like it. Don't get me wrong, I am perfectly okay with giving up some privacy voluntarily, however, I have found it to be quite distracting. Imagine you are in a room watching a lecture. Imagine that you can see anybody that walks by outside of that room. Then imagine that beyond that hallway, there is an another room and you can see what they are doing in there. And so on it continues for infinity, or until the building ends :) It can get quite overwhelming with the limitless things you can keep an eye on.

My presentations went well (Two down, two to go). Alessandro said that I posed some controversial opinions on broad topics, so that I should consider a career in politics. I haven't decided yet if that was an insult or a compliment. If you have any ideas on the matter, let me know.

Now, my stomach is trying to get adjusted to this Japanese cuisine, but I am just not used to this much seafood. So I was considering switching to some more western style cuisine. To their merit, the conference has provide both a japanese and western style lunch box. I chose japanese today, though the seafood made me feel sick last night. I think that I should just embrace the japanese experience and get as much of the cuisine as I can while over here. Also, Vittorio correctly pointed out that it will be healthier, and I can afford to lose a few. But I don't like feeling sick in the process. I haven't decided yet if I am going to stick out the japanese assimilation or not.

I haven't decided yet what kinds of pictures I will take today... but I will go out and take some now. :)
